Our Mission is to honor country musicians from around the state. Our event will be held on the First Sunday in October of each year.

The South Dakota Country Music Hall of Fame started as a brainstorm of Kenny Powell and Barb Alley to honor Kenny's uncle, Curt Powell, who was an accomplished musician. Curt passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. It started out as a musicians jam session. The event has turned into an annual charity event with proceeds being donated to charity through raffles and donations.
Donations and funds being raised will be used to help fund purchases of band instruments for school children throughout the state that have financial needs.
